om det är något jag har lärt mig under mina 6 dagar i england så är det hur svensk jag faktiskt är. och den här lilla listan som jag hittade på jossans blogg är bara ett litet bevis på det.
you know you're swedish when..
...you get nervous about unorganized waiting lines.
...you avoid leaving your apartment until the hall, stairway and elevator are empty, so you don't have to speak with your neighbors.
...you always announce when you are going to the toilet.
...you know the exact meaning of the word "lagom". (There is no English word for this, but it means "not too much, not too little", and yes we know exactly how much.)
...when you think the greeting "how are you?" needs to be answered with an honest and thorough explanation of your mental health. Therefore, you don't understand why non-Swedes give you a one word answer.
...you feel guilty if you're not outside on a sunny day.
...no matter where in the world you are, you always bring an extra sweater when you go out, because it might get chilly.
och alla dessa saker stämmer ju faktiskt. helt fantastiskt.
